Arcade Sushi’s Madden NFL 15 Review is a Winner
Yes, another year, another Madden. And it seems like every year, publisher Electronic Arts promises the most realistic, authentic football simulator in history. Of course, we all know that EA Sports doesn’t always top themselves, year in and year out, so football fans go into the summer with bated breath.
The good news is that the developers typically deliver the goods, even when the production isn’t quite as stellar as advertised. Such a description appears to fit Madden NFL 15 and for an excellent and entertaining evaluation, check out Arcade Sushi. Critic Jason Fanelli clearly knows his stuff, as he appropriately dissects the virtual gridiron’s intricacies and strategy.
Don’t forget that hardcore pigskin followers will want an in-depth review, one that isn’t afraid to cover the nuts and bolts of the gameplay. This requires a fair amount of time, research, and general knowledge (both of the real sport and the games depicting the sport). Fanelli does his job admirably.
Why We Like It:
— The critic addresses the well-documented claims of the developer. In this case, as they were crowing about realism, the reviewer attempts to answer the obvious question fans will have. This is the right way to approach a consumer review.
— Exhibited knowledge and understanding of the franchise in question, and how it reflects reality. Another critical element.
— The critic realizes that his readers will be looking for lots of gameplay detail and analysis, and that’s precisely what he delivers. Understanding your readership is always key for any reviewer.
