Honored Source: Nintendo Life Respects the Iconic Brand
Nintendo is a name that will never die, and rightfully so. No matter what happens in the future, Nintendo will always be known as a pioneer, and arguably the father of modern video games.
As such, there are a lot of websites and blogs dedicated to the Mario makers, and it was difficult sorting through them all. However, as we recently honored two PlayStation-centric sources – PlayStation LifeStyle and PSU (PlayStation Universe) – we knew we needed to expand.
And as Nintendo is close to our hearts, we wanted to pick one of our favorites. That site is Nintendo Life.
Started in 2006 alongside the launch of the Wii in North America, the site eventually teamed up with WiiWare World and VC-Reviews in April 2009. And then in 2011, they partnered with Eurogamer.net, which was an undeniable boon.
We like so many things about the site but above all else, we love the commitment and the passion. When it comes to Nintendo, these are two traits that absolutely must be in existence. They also pen great reviews and they’ve got an experienced, knowledgeable staff that continues to give the readers exactly what they want.
The site is always up-to-date and the general quality of the content is excellent. The bottom line is that we wanted to honor a site that pays appropriate respect to the kingly name of Nintendo, and we find that at Nintendo Life. The layout is slick, the community is fantastic, and really, what more could a Nintendo follower ask for?
Congrats, guys!

I haven’t been into Nintendo for a while but this seems like a great site. Kudos!
I actually haven’t visited this site yet.
Now that you’ve pointed me in the right direction, though, I’m glad I did. 🙂
I just wish Nintendo wasn’t in the position they’re in right now…
I will always respect Nintendo, even if I think they’ve totally gone downhill in the past three or four years.
