Which kind of lag are you seeing?

Watch the camera and other players separately. If looking around is smooth but players jump between positions or actions register late, investigate the connection or server. If the entire picture stutters as you turn, investigate rendering and device performance. You can have both problems at once, so do not force every symptom into a single category.

Roblox's lag guide distinguishes network, graphics, and system lag. That is a better starting point than installing an “FPS booster.” A tool cannot remove internet round-trip time simply by changing a display setting.

If the camera becomes smoother but delayed actions remain, you have improved one part of the problem. Leave that successful setting in place and investigate the connection separately. If nothing changes, restore your preferred quality and move on rather than lowering it repeatedly without evidence.

Reduce competing activity before changing the game

Close applications you do not need for the session, especially ones actively using the device or downloading large files. Save your work before closing them. Use the operating system's ordinary controls; do not terminate processes whose purpose you do not understand or disable security software to chase a larger FPS number.

Also consider what is happening elsewhere on the connection. A console download or cloud backup can overlap with a Roblox session even when the gaming device looks idle. Pause a transfer you control, repeat your comparison, then resume it afterward. This is a way to test contention, not a claim that every household download causes lag.

On a laptop, use the manufacturer's normal power and cooling guidance. For delayed actions, compare the network route

Try a stable wired connection if your device already supports one, or compare Wi-Fi closer to the router. Test a second experience too. If one experience behaves badly while others are responsive under similar conditions, its workload or server may be relevant.
